MAN... I realised I've been gone for about a month. Oh well, June holidays was just boring doing Social Studies, Biology, Chinese performance tasks. Well, I did go for a movie with Karen to watch Transformers. XD With the first scene of Megan Fox humping a motobicycle. Both of us were laughing hard at the terribly cheesy jokes (even one about swine flu) and the 'wholly' plot where Shia dies and comes back miraculously to life again and Optimus Prime becoming totally IMBA, blasting every bad guy into pieces. Kind of like the old Ultra Man movies, only with better graphics, whereby ultra man always defects that bad guy just as he is running out of energy in one shot. :P

Racial Harmony Day - 21st July 2009

It was a total flop due to H1N1, with no activities and just normal lessons. I wore my kimono <3>

Today, I GOT AN LOA TOO :) Just right after Philosophy lesson, a teacher came over and called Wan Shuen out. She came back to class with this super serious face and called me out too. CAILYN FURBALL got H1N1 and we are all given LOA for the entire week. :D

Oh and Mr Evans came to class in a suit, with a real bow tie.

Father's baking spree

My dad has been on a baking spree, baking almost every other weekend with his Ma Lai Gao, Cake, Muffin and Pao. :)

Recovery

My last finger now looks aptly normal after 4 months of recovery from the fateful Sunday night. I pulled out my nail as it got stuck in a foldable chair and got sent to the hospital cause it was quite late at night. *kids, do not try this at home* I remember going on leave from CCA and PE for like 3 weeks and the throbbing pain in my finger that makes me sleep. Mr Evans said that I would have to go without a boyfriend and ended up asking the entire class "Who's got RI boyfriends" XD

I went with Natasha and her friend this year. Although this year the Naruto and Bleach gang were absent. There were still pretty good cosplayers around :) I'll upload the photos when I get them. AWESOME <3

Other than my GPA dropping by 0.4, I passed all my subjects and now, its 2 weeks into the holidays. :D

NSI: Network Security Investigation

FUN FUN time making cantennas. HAHA... I'm sure we (Cheryl, Munirah and I) were eye-catching enough running around PS Macdonalds with a laptop and an oversized cantenna. In the end, my dad and I rebuilt a different one with a waffle container.

My entire living room became a mini factory complete with a hand drill, a solder and soldering iron, screwdrivers, pliers, nails etc. Both my dad and I had a fun fun and stress stress time playing around with the cantenna.

On the actual day of competition itself, we screwed up the forensic toolkit competition ENTIRELY. Had a really good laugh after the competition. Then can the cantenna one. We measured the range of the cantenna by pinging it to a wireless AP. WOW! We exceeded the 65m range that they planned for us. The 1st ever~ :D Even the people in charge were so curious that they came over to join in the commotion. The girl had to measure it twice in case it was a fluke. YAY~ It wasn't. The guy who took us while we were looking for rouge APs was really too kind. *HINT HINT* They fed us a total of 3 buffets and we played 4 hours of badminton + a little bit of table tennis waiting for the results to arrived. Got muscle crams after that. >< (don't be like me, do your warm ups)

Even though we didn't win anything. IT WAS REALLY FUN, but I was dead beat after I arrived home.

Finally, a lunch with the entire family. Awesome steak and chicken. (: Except for the part whereby they charged my sister $12 for touching the dessert platter. LOL She ordered kid's meal from a different place. LOL. :O

Fathers' Day

baked 2 cakes :D YUMMY~ Brownie and Sponge cake. Thank God it turned out all right. What a waste it would have been. Gave some to Claudia, my mum's friend and my father's side family (: Hope it tasted alright.

I just realised I haven't posted for a long long long time. YAY, the examinations are over, but sigh... the results sure are depressing. I'm not going to do a summary of it here. *cry*

My seat mates for this entire term is Jia Min aka Victoria and Sarah Tan. Life's been pretty boring. Lessons after lessons.

It was Wan Shuen's birthday recently and we sang a song. Esther decided to smash a small piece of cake for fun and oh my, what a commotion did it cause. :P

another long time has past. (:

Recent updates include the March Holidays (in name only) and Learning Jouneys and the usual rants and ravings of an RGS student.

March Holidays
Went up all the way to Port Dickson in Malaysia. The bus ride was approximately 6 hours. I was starving when we finally arrived. We had the usual praise and worship, devotion and quiet time. This time, I was the assistant group leader and I had to lead QT and be incharge of the group (9) when the sec 4s are gone which is pretty much during most of the activities.
We had night games, normal games and then team building games and night surprise, all of which were held in the hotel (:

Night Games was quite okay, other than Kezia looking and laughing really freakily. Plus Hui Qing, the courtsean was all flirtatious and Valerie and Joelle actually played along with her --" Elizabeth was just bossy. Joong was the ninja, It was something about all the oil being used up and that we being different states and countries, are to complete task in order to find the oil reserve. Had quite a bit of fun but it was REALLY CONFUSING.

Team Building Games (By the mentors and teachers) was fun. We did the tie-shoe-lace-and-walk/run-thing, and the "I am a non-risky gymer" thing where we did a human pyramid. (: We also did our fancy footdrill for the company. The second part is by the Sec 4, mostly done on the beach.

1st Game: Given a 4XL shirt and we are allowed to squeeze as many people within the shirt as possible and run/walk to the end point. Do until everyone has reached. 1st to complete this one. YAY!

2nd Game: some web-maze thing. Tie team member's hand to another's leg and than cross the maze. Bonus marks for singing a song or dancing. This one was okay. Bonus part: Dancing as a team to a random song. And we did a hat-dance. --" to the tune of (super embarassing)

Game 3: Answering random knowledge questions about GB and then getting "water bombs" to throw into a circle. This one was really badly done. I mean... I don't remember anything from the GBK I did in Sec 1 at all. Bonus Item: Dance a bollywood dance. (another embarrasing moment) :P

Game 4: We played lao ying zhua xiao ji, due to certain circumstances. It was rather fun, with Claire Mok and Renci being the lao ying and Sarah Tan being the mu ji. (:

Game 5: Hula Hoop Game. Bonus mark: Hula Hoop Dance. (What's with all the random dancing!?)

Game 6: Building the tallest STANDING STRAW TOWER. This one, we managed to make one that was about 1.7m tall? (taller than me T_T)

Game 7: Caterpillar Crawl. This one totally hurt my legs and hands. Couldn't complete this one.

Game 8: Given random pictures, you are supposed to act it out, form it or what ever, to represent the picture. Second part is to do a random 1 min play using all the props given with all your members. I acted as a spoiled kid. :D

I can't remember all the other games so that's probably it

Night Surprise's introduction was really stupid. HAHA! almost everyone got duped, especially the assistant group leaders. It turned out to be less scary, but still scary because of the unknown surroundings. Imagine hotel corridors dimly lighted by alternate orange lamps. Kinda gives me the creeps. Plus the lightings in the hotel rooms were the "romantic/creepy" kind of lightings. Also orange lamps. --" AS usual, there are random ghost/corpse around. The last time, Tiddy grabbed my leg. This time, its Hui Qing. All I could do was stand there and not step on their hands. The story was crafted quite well and the make-up was rather real. Well done Sec 4s. :D

The hotel was quite fun. BREAKFAST WAS AWESOME; the rest is just normal. We had stuff like roti prata, french toast, scrambled eggs etc. The only thing that really put me off there was the amount of houseflies flying around and the people there act like its normal! HOW CAN THAT BE!? There was room service too. We called them up approximately 4 times to ask for 2 extra towels each. Room mates: Diane, Amanda Lee, Micole Soh and me (: Will post up pictures next time. The sunset, sunrise and high tide/low tide is really awesome.

I have not posted for a really long time. Been really busy with Drill Competition which was recently over, SLI (student leader's investiture), Founder's Day etc.

Drill competition was yesterday. Seriously, I have never taken drill so seriously before. haha... neither have I polished my boots so seriously. (: It was separated in 3 portions: Uniform inspection, FFD (Fancyfoot Drill+Silent Drill) and Impromptu Drill. I guess it turned out to be a good experience after all. Even though there were times that I felt really pissed off and tired, especially having to 'suntan' (more like bake) in the sun doing drill at the netball courts for more than 5 hours. And during drill competition someone stepped on my boots and I had to do half of the drill with my boots almost falling off :P I thank God for putting me in drill competition and letting me have such wonderful team mates.

Learning Journeys just ended last week. With Day 1: Civic Tour (or something like that) whereby we had something like a math trail along the Singapore River. It was rather fun... but the math questions were just ... ...

This was a retarded cheer we came out with in 2 minutes and gained extra points by using all the underlined words.My group: Gillian, Elyssa, Esther and ME (: The facilitators were pretty funny. Especially the one holding his notebook with the sign: FEED ME

YOG was okay... but I thought the displays were rather cool.
Lower Pierce was really enlightening. I actually expected the usual looking at plants thing. I learnt quite a lot... about the sluice gate and dam. AND WE ACTUALLY GOT TO SEE A FLYING LEMUR. (its a exactly a lemur but a flying squirrel as lemurs are only found in madagascar)

The chinese movie appreciation was ... I didn't really enjoy it. The movie they screened was okay, but the 交流part was just off.

FOUNDER'S DAY`09 was totally AWESOME. I really enjoyed myself despite having seen the rehearsals. The very 1st founder's day in the evening. The costumes, like the old british dress, the 'house guardians' and the violin performance that totally just blew everyone away. Thanks OT for putting up such a wonderful performance. (:

SLI was on the 29th Feb if I remember correctly was the 2nd one that I have attended. Its just that this year, its different. 5 people from 105 have become class chairperson.

Valentines Day aka Friendship Week is here :D Had a fun fun time.

Today started with a fire drill, followed by a half hour long free block. Recieved many many chocolates and random tidbits and a bear named (KOH) from Cat Shin <3 Thanks everyone!

Yesterday was Infocomm orientation and we had pizza. Spent the time playing stupid random games. This year's juniors are so much more experienced than us, coming from Infocomm clubs in their primary school life. Melissa and Shota con played random Fuwa Sho bottle throwing.

Beauty Pop finally ended with 51 chapters. Kiri and Narumi 1 couple with 2 kids that look exactly like them. SO CUTE! I really like the series.

Its been a few weeks of school. Other than the school rules becoming really sucky and the long school hours, life's been pretty fun.

In Bio, Mr Evans is just hilarious and his diagrams (although not the prettiest of drawings) are clear and concise. The experiements are quite fun - looking through microscopes, soaking chinese leek and quill eggs. Studying the fascinating cell membrane.

In Lit, Dr Saeker always digresses, which I find is a common trait between Miss Picca and him. He then tries to 'skillfully bring the topic back to frankenstein'. He even came to class one day carrying a 'stapler, paper clips, blue tack and rubber bands' doing a class 'sport hair check'. "If I find anyone with hair touching your eye brows, you would have to use one of the following to clip your hair up" ~ haha! Studying Frankensteins has been really interesting. Be it in the ambitious and stupid frankenstein, the inhuman yet really quite human CREATURE or the type-of-gay-person-in-modern-society-kind-of-guy Clerval.

My Yang is our new math teacher. Its really funny when he pronounces our names wrongly (not in the bad way) and that he is from Hwa Chong yet teaching in RGS. Apparently Ms Charmaine Sia (the super math and physics genius) left for MIT to continue her studies. You wouldn't say that she is a really engaging teacher but if you listen to her lessons (the important parts) you would DEFINITELY pass your graded assignments :D

In English, Mrs Goh came across as a really agressive teacher but she's really quite nice. We had this random activity whereby she gave us random passages from more random sources. And we were guessing that one of the passages was about prostituition. T_T It was totally OFF the topic.

In Social Studies, we are now currently doing a debate about the Tudung issue which happened about a few years ago. And what a 'common space' is. Too bad Mr Chew is away on reservist. He has the most intriguing stories of all coming from his experience. Also, he showed us this you-tube video about malay culture in a song ~ hilarious. Be it buying a christmas tree to people sleeping naked in the bed etc. Social studies has never been this fun.

In Chinese, Mr Li shows us random Chinese 相声 from china.(I wonder if this is right?) The one about changing of times and identity of singers and the one on customer service calls on telephones "If you want this, please press 1. If you want this, please press 2" DAMN FUNNY!

In Chemistry, Graham's law is a total headache. >< Plus the memorising of valency charts and molecular mass.

In History, we saw Copernicus' GAY picture. I think he looks like Prince Caspian from Narnia (hairstyle) and that Tycho Brahe's nose got sliced off while fighting with a random mathematician. And looking at all the anciet thinkings are funny. Like who people used to think that planets moved in crystalised spheres in perfect circles because they are thought of as heavenly bodies.

Went to Ashton to eat a celebratory dinner of my safe return from OBS and my Birthday. The very first all-family-members-are-present-and-eat-together dinner. We had a good chat and talk and the food was still as good. Hmm... heavenly compared to the ones I had in OBS although those tasted quite good too. Maybe I was just too hungry at OBS to even bother about the taste.

finally, we reach CNY. Had a really normal celebration just like usual. On Sunday, visiting relatives for 团圆饭. My family stayed up until 12am in the morning talking (with my sister sleeping) inside my room. Even though it was random crap... it felt like ages before my family had like a good talking time together. :D

Did my nails by putting random flowers on them. basically, you eat, talk, share, bond, have fun, laugh and catch up with each other. I saving all my money to buy a new camera <3

Welcome myself back into civilisation! OMG I survived 5 days of OBS and I kinda miss it already. I don't really want to return to the world of stress even though I don't want to live without proper toileting facilities. <3marshall:super>slack day. All we did was PACK. PACK. and PACK. We had food, bags, tents, pots, spady the spade, personal stuff, ponchos etc... Then we pitched our tents somewhere up in the forest even though we had bunks right next to our store to sleep. While checking the tent, there was this disgusting scorpion climbing on the inside of our tent and a stick insect on the outside of the tent next to us. We "screamed" and LJ came to the rescue, removing the revolting blue and biege scorpion from our tent. Note: green + red light stick = place you can pee in. Food was still catered for and the toilets were heavenly.

2nd day. Morning exercise
was extremely hilarious. This was always done within 4 groups: Munshi, Bo Seng, Eng Soon and Marshall. Our greeting changed from "Good Morning!" "The morning is good" to "Good Morning" "What so good about the morning!".
We did the "Trust fall". "Marshall ready, Marshall pull" haha... it felt really fun to be committing suicide for the 1st few seconds and yet survive it without any injuries at all. Well of course as the name suggest, you need to have trust in your fellow team mates to cushion your fall. Height challenge for my group was absailing down this menancing looking cliff with a hole at the bottom. It was also drizzling on and off... so irritating. We ate lunch, donated blood to the mosquitos, went insect hunting for bio journal and crashed into the absailing cliff many times. It was really scary to look down, much less walk downwards with your back facing below. We then treked 1.5km to Camp 2...got a taste of how heavy the bags were. (about 10kg~?)

3rd day. Water activities day.
Instead of kayaking, we did *drum roll* row boating. Everyone was screaming during the float test. And LJ had to say that nobody could come up with dry heads, the sea water was freaking salty! My group was the very first group to get towed (so honoured) It was a rather traumatising activity after 6 hours but fun nevertheless. Firstly, we were against the tide. Next, we were against the wind. We kept singing random songs and laughed and eat and applied layers and layers of sunblock. Arrived safely at camp site 3, one that I would never want to go AGAIN if I ever had the choice.

It had NO toilets and we had to sleep on rocks.

4th day. LONG TREK DAY

YAY! I watched Ponyo - the little goldfish from the sea today with my mom and my sister. Its really good quality animation and the storyline was cute and had a sense of humour. A nice and touching story about a little boy who finds a goldfish (with a human face somehow) and they become good friends. And then things start happening.

CELEBRATING THE 400th post of my blog!
Also "celebrating" the 1st day of school and the starting of hellish days once again. :( Well, the consolation is at least I get to see my friends. Other than that, it was totally boring. there is no point in opening school on a Friday. All we did were talks one after another, meeting of our form teacher for a few minutes, run into classrooms lacking chairs and plain sleepiness. To add on, I was having a bad cough.

Went out for lunch with Karen, Farah and Najwa. We ate under the escalator on the floor. Minutes later, another 3 big groups of RGS girls joined us. This is what we call illegal gathering of more than 6 people. haha!~ Karen and I shared SUBWAY and I went home.

We played poker cards and I learnt another way to gamble - HEARTS. It was Guan Koi, Yu Long, Cheng Sin and Karen competiting. In the end, Cheng Sin lost and he had to do a forfeit. HE TOOK LIKE FOREVER TO DO HIS FORFEIT. Well, he had to carry Yu long on his back around the swimming pool in the end. I really looked like Gai-sensei carrying Kakashi-sensei on his back when they were returning from the Sand Village from rescueing Gaara. DAMN FUNNY! ><

We played more card games like Indian Poker and Number guessing game. The penalty was eating a jelly everytime you lost. In the end, the 10 of us finished an entire tub of jelly. --" Had a good chat with everyone... hope to have another gathering soon next year!

CCAO on the 30th of Dec and my sister's first day of orientation to a brand new life of Primary school at Kong Hwa Primary. My dad managed to send me to RGS and I didn't have to wake up that early. (thanks dad!) There, I met with many of my old classmates and did what was the same every year... introducing the different CCAs in RGS before the start of their CCA trials.

Had fun collecting stickers and sticking them all over my shirt. Had a weird time explaining all the complicated CCA selection conditions and stuff to parents. It was as if the parents were more enthusiastic about joining the CCAs here than the students themselves. They were the ones who asked the most questions and took the most notes. (how interesting)

I then wanted to rush to Kong Hwa for my sister's orientation right after that, but it seemed like I was too late. Well anyway, I took bus no.7 with Karen and we both were quite high. I reached home and then slacked the entire day. 2 mores days to school reopening and I still have not completed my commonwealth essay. I'm so dead. ><

My Saturday on the 13th was really fun :D In the morning I had the last Jap lesson for the entire course. In the afternoon I had maths tuition at Aspen. In the late afternoon I went for EOY together with Karen.

It was a fun fun experience. We took pictures of cosplayers, checked out all the booths (Karen went on a spending spree again. Her home may soon become an anime/manga museum), watch the cosplay competition. Although we missed the bakaninja team's performance, we managed to catch a super cute version of the Kurojitsushi dance and the famous Haruhi Suzumiya para-para dance.

Some of the booths were selling things cheap and the BLEACH cards were totally awesome... but I didn't buy any. No place to keep even if I bought them. --" Check out the photos when I get them from Karen and Jessie :D

Done 6 hours of CIP at the Bedok Public Library doing the Marina Bay Countdown Well-wishes for 2009 thing. The 1st session was quite fun, there were 6 of us :D 5 girls and 1 guy. Among them is my long-lost kindergarten friend - Kimberly. We split up into 2 groups, the 3 girls at the 3rd level and Jessie, the guy and me at the ground level. We were all given super-large shirts to wear. --"

There were quite a few experiences... walking trees (people who totally ignore you), kids who love to 'vandalise', many of whom has big dreams of becoming rich, owning PSPs and become scientists. We had cheerful parents and adults, one of whom even thanked us for the work we have done :D. We had nasty people who were really rude, nice people who refused us nicely, people who have no dreams apparently --" and shy people who don't want to write.

There was this guy whom Jessie approached and he totally ran away like he was terrified of her. I was laughing so hard that my stomach was hurting. Went to Watch The Quantum of Solace with Natalie and Jessie at Cathay Cineleisure - 3rd Dec. We ate lunch at some Hong Kong Restaurant, being the most I have spent on 1 lunch ever in my entire 14+ years of life. It was $16.20 - gluttonus rice, carrot cake, pan-friend dumplings and Hong Kong 奶茶.

Went to Kinokuniya again, making it the 4th time within a short 4 months. I have made up my mind that I will buy a japanese book from there once I have fully learnt how to read! :D I have quite a number of books there in mind. Both Jessie and Natalie bought something to read there.

The Quantum of Solace was okay. I have watched numerous James Bond Movies, however apart from the action and the killing, the plot with all the chim code names just cannot be registered in my head. If comparing in wits, the Borne Ultimatium is better, but James Bonds' got more brut action. *punch punch* *kick kick*

Did my first 2 hours of CIP at White Sands Mall together with Jessie, helping out with the JRA (Junior Reading Association) of the NLB. Our jobs were pretty simple cause the art and craft section was cut out. All we had to do were to distribute some flyers, give out small tokens to children who manage to answer questions correctly and take pictures.

We even visited the new 'movable' library which is in a bus form and they have quite a wide range of books considering the size of the bus. Went to ARIES together after the entire thing and wanted to 'humilate' my brother into wearing a girly hairband after he broke 2 of my plain ones. In the end, I bought a simple white one after being persuaded not to by Jessie. :P Both of us bought bangles and I bought my mother's Christmas present.

First time doing Flag Day on Wednesday. It was a hell of an experience. --" Firstly, there is the Asian Financial Crisis... although I really doubt donating a simple 50 cents would make you broke. However, I've seen a number of weird and funny reactions when you ask people to donate money. Here are some of the most funny reactions (some are rather cute)

1. There was this guy in a working shirt and the conversation went something like that...
"Would you like to donate(...)"
"Is there a minimum fee?"
"No, its any amount you like."
(and then he took out a $5 note and put it into the bag)

2. There were people who automatically donated. People who donated when asked. People who gave you a black face, saying "Go away you annoying pest." It made me feel like telling them "Its not like I wanted to do this anyway, I could be at home doing whatever I want. I'm doing this out of goodwill." --" There were people who were even worst, they turn to one side completely ignoring. I wonder how difficult it is to even say a small "No, thank you."

3. There was this dramatic girl who shouted "I am broke" at us when we asked. She was probably feeling depressed or pissed off at that time. But that was the most dramatic reaction I have ever seen.

I don't really know how much I collected by I treated Wan Ting and I to Coffee Bean as we were tired from travelling from Tanjong Pagar to Orchard, Bugis and then to Douby Ghaut.

Just came back alive after hibernating for the past 7 hours. I fell right asleep after returning from the class chalet at 12nn. So tired. The 2 days ago, I was reading 天使街 V until midnight. I met Jessie at her house so that her mum can send us down to Down Town East together. There we continued watching Bleach until the time and met everyone else at the food court. There we totally took a gigantic portion of the food court with 15 of us eating. From there we waited outside until we could check in.

We wanted to go bowling with all the free hours we were given from booking the chalet but it was overcrowded. We walked around and then decided to go cycling:D My very first time doing double biking (and I don't think I will be doing it again in the near future 'cause can't really do it) I'm sure Natalie was going "What the heck" at the back when I didn't even know how to get the bike going since it was so heavy. We had some problems with the number of bikes and they almost held back all our ezlink cards due to it.

Started BBQ with no problems (girl guides outdoor cooking power) and we all prepare the food. Jessie and I skewered the chicken wings which were so friggin' cold that my hand was half frozen by the time that we were both done. T_T. The food was not too bad for us doing this unsupervised. I ATE 6 scoops of peanut butter in one night just playing the number game. I wonder if I will put on weight! (others got it off worst than me *haha*) Played poker cards without gambling.

Some guys started drinking beer and alcohols. We freaked out, cleared everything up within 5 mins and locked ourselves (8 of us) inside the room with the television). We had quite a store of videos and movies to choose from. We left as a group to buy snacks then.

AFA`08 was just a place full of fun :D

I went there at 11am. My dad managed to send me to Suntec City on the way to Plaza Singapura. They all didn't go to church that day cause my brother left for Middle East (Dubai) on an school field trip the previous night and none of them slept till about 1am in the morning. Plus all the excitement from him not knowing the number combination of the lock made everyone super tired.

AFA`08 was held in exhibition 401 - 403 and I was the first one there. The entire Gundam Gallery was fascinating. Every single Gundam Model, or anime figurine could be found displayed there. COOL! :D I walked around the entire area, shopped, looked at the mangas, animes and goods sold there, collected brochures and saw the power ranges on the stage (meet and greet live session) --" I explored the area alone and looked through all the goods in the different stalls, saw the fan art and read the short stories. Jessie finally arrived and we went around taking pictures with the posters and the cosplayers who have started to arrive as the Cosplay Mania Competition was starting. We both took Hokkien Mee and went back in time to watch.

We had characters from the manga hit-man REBORN. A cute performance of Code Geass and disappearing plus hungry CC. A hilarious performance with mini house, a huge ONI and ULTRAMAN o_O The action was really funny and the ONI stepped on all the mini houses. We had another Code Geass performance with a live robot that had to climb the stairs. It took 10mins just to do that and the wings kept falling off. An assorted musical of Kingdom Hearts with a yaori pairing, an extremely cool performance of Trinity Blood, a no stunt man action pack fighting scene from hit-man REBORN and a super-sucky performance by Tifa and a random lolita girl.

Bought 4 manga books from CAT STREET (while Jessie bought Ouran) and found a free D-Gray Man poster on the floor. The quality was super good. I wonder what happened to the person who dropped it. If I could find the owner I would definitely return it though. Returned home exhuasted with Jessie :D

These are the recent mangas that I have finished:

Cat Street (35 chapters) - I really love this series and is a supporter of Kouichi - Keito pairing. the ending was a satisfying one.

Hana Tsukihime (1 book, 4 chapters) This book's drawings were awesome and I enjoyed the storyline but the ending was such a vague cliffhanger, I was quite disappointed.
I'm continuing the unfinished InuYasha series. GOGO... I have 50 over chapters to rush over.

Went to Jessie's house today. The last time I went there, some guy came to repair the internet connection. This time, Jessie's house was changing the television and the television was HUGE, well, bigger than my house one at least. The guy that came before the actual television came was hilarious. He only brought the television stand with him. --" Sam was there again and I fed him from my hand. I was afraid he would bite me, but apparently not! :D

I watched "She's the Man", a modern variation of the Twelfth Nightof Shakespeare's work. Its like a variation of Hana Kimi, with different reasons for disguising as a boy and an American version. The jokes were super hilarious and I couldn't help from letting a goofy smile from spreading across my face and laughing till me sides hurt with Jessie and her brother. We all had western lunch and Jessie gave me an hour lesson on Japanese and lent me her notes to memorise all the kranji characters. ARGH! Jessie's brother went off for Secondary 1 initiation camp... morever, PSLE reasults being released TODAY! ><

When he came back, we watched 不能说的秘密 by 周杰伦. It was pretty good although confusing at first. I enjoyed the film. I was about to leave the house at 5 when the rain suddenly started pouring super heavily and I was allowed to stay for another half an hour. We had Jessie's brother play the songs from 不能说的秘密and sang Ma Ma Mia (with accompaniment from her brother) plus many other Japanese songs.

Onemanga was block by them and I can't read from there anymore. I don't see what is the reason of blocking the english manga websites. Unless STARHUB can find a way for the translating companies to translate all the existing manga there into proper books in English do they have the right to block the websites. I know about patent rights, but making it available on the internet reaches out to a much larger audience. If everything is in Japanese... how do you expect us japanese illterates to read. ****! (btw, don't mistake this for the f word)

As it is, very few make it to be translated already. This is TRANSLATION. If they are so worried about money, then go translate it and we will happily purchase the manga. IDIOT>< STARHUB! Finished so many INUYASHA movies. I'm feeling really high although the ending is kind of like Ultraman. Always, Kagome shooting the arrow and Inuyasha doing his signature Bakuryha. However, I still enjoy the nice eye candy of Kawaii Inuyasha and the cool Sesshoumaru! :D The movies were really well produced looking at the animation and stuff. Went out with Jessie and Cat yesterday. Cat actually agreed to come and she skipped training. ==" We met at Singapore Post Centre in Popular and set off for Bugis. Ate till I was super full at Pastamania, 10 pcs pizza and 2 pastas. Window shopped at Bugis to burn off the calories accumulated from lunch. We set off for Cat's house somewhere in Siglap in a cosy pent house, with 3 rooms and a guest room. We were half drenched as it was raining. Played monopoly (I won again! haha), the piano, watched some videos on youtube, studied maths(I'm serious) and read manga.

I finsihed reading 天使街23号 III and IV. It was really good. These few days are just spent sleeping late at night, reading books, reading manga, watching anime, playing the piano and slacking. 李哲羽 died and I was rejoicing like a ritard on my bed. When 金月夜 became the bad guy and started working with 'Sun' the idiot I was going like - "What the heck!" in my head. I wonder how the story is going to end.

I signed up for Japanese holiday classes, maths tuition and CIP at the library, I'm going to be really busy in the next few weeks. The manga chapters are coming out so slowly for many of the manga... I'm tired of waiting. Starting on new series. :D

WENT OUT WITH JESSIE TO TAKA TODAY. I think we were just plain mentally challenged (both of us) Apart from Jessie being 'chased' by a pervert, we totally got lost trying to get to City hall in circles. This is how the timeline probably went:

Jessie and I miss City Hall Station by 1 because we were busy talking. We alighted immediately on the next stop and crossed over.

Jessie and I nearly took that train all the way to Marina Bay --" but realised on time. We managed to find the right train and headed on our way back towards City Hall.

However, we thought that we could take that train all the way to Orchard and missed City Hall again. Ended up at Bugis.

Jessie and I finally got on the train to City Hall and alighted at the right station and was finally on the way to City.

I think we were like total idiots that went in a full circle. It has never happened before. HAHA! Elaine the ritard! Whatever.

Ate lunch at kopitiam at Sing post - another jap shop named Sakura. At Taka, we went to Kinokuniya and we headed over to the manga section. Jessie wanted to buy a few Japanese novels to read, but we looked at the mangas anyway. VK book 8 is officially out! (but its in the jap version). I bought my sister's Christmas present. Its a book entitled - "Don't kiss the Frog". I don't know why kids have these obessesion on princesses and princes. So this book is about unconventional princes who DO NOT NEED A KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOUR TO SAVE THEM. I totally agree with this. Btw, this was a book that Jessie recommended and I agreed on.
Thanks to RGS, I have become a feministic fan... all hail to women who do not need those guy jerks (which most of them are e.g. playboys/ bullys/ girl teasers) to save them. As far as I know, I much prefer anime guys - ZERO! TSURUGA REN! and the akuma from Hanatsuki Hime. ALLEN and LAVI! :D Spent a total of $30...almost broke.

School Farewell Assembly was boring actually. It might not be for the graduating batch, but for all of us. it was quite boring until the fun portion whereby there were less long speeches made by every single CLE and Form teacher which were not meant for us. The Talent Vogue people MCed the performance and they were so hilarious.

"Why is Miss Goh Lee Kian the most popular teacher in RGS?"
"Cause she gets T-shirt proposals, camp proposals, P.E proposals..."

The Talent vogue winners performed their variation of the Dance Expressione III performance. There was Rihanna's 'Take a Bow' song by the SPICE girls aka the House Captains of 2008. All the Sec 4s took their bow literally. And Finale was a song composed by a few RGS students. It was not too bad. And everyone was practically singing and dancing to 'High School Musical' 'We Are All In this Together'. As much as I dislike the show, I think the songs are pretty good.

Drama Night was a total bomb, but not as good as last years'. Maybe because I was too high in Sec 1 --". Sec 201's Shakespeare in 5 mins rap was so good. I think I would like the lyrics. The Sec1's performance had was quite good, but it had nothing to do with the theme Kailedoscope. There was one on the Elf Factory with an evil Santa kidnapping children to make toys and - Jamie Blond. (A bad pun on James Bond). Another one on Rapunzel being the evil one (serve her right to get locked up) and the prince being fed up with rescueing her. In actual fact, the witch is in love with the prince. Lastly, we have A twist of Little Red Riding Hood. The wolf was super funny, and there is that 'forbidden love' between an animal and a human. I wonder how did everything become fairy tales! --"

The Sec 2s ROCK THE STAGE MAN! 204 had a great performance that was mainly serious. It gave a good 5 min overview but there was no humour. 208 had a wonderful musical starting with the Ma Ma Mia! song - "Money, Money, Money, must be funny in a rich man's world" It was hilarious, I love the way they incooperated the songs into their show. And the Prince Arragon was a joker with his 'ARHH... ARHG!!!" Lastly, 209 twisted the entire Merchant of Venice into Rabbits of Radish, with stupid puns about the fish scales to weigh the flesh. (just what an OM filled class would do) In the end they ended with another stupid but funny joke on "Where's my [james] BOND"

The entire thing ended super early, so Jessie and I went to Subway to eat. The guy was amazed to see us still in uniform. --" haha! And there was this irritating (eye sore) couple who were 'struggling' to kiss each other in the MRT. I know it sounds obscene but this is the best description I could give. so Jessie turned our backs against them. But in the end, Jessie sat next to them after I left at Paya Lebar. I wonder what happened... ...

Netcarn is over! This year's netball carnival was just like last year and just as fun! Just that I played a little less agressive, making it the VERY FIRST TIME, I didn't get a cut, bruise or injury. Neither did my specs get hit by the ball and become out of shape like last year. --" I had to go all the way to Plaza Singapura to get it fixed back and the guy shook his head at me. >< The team comprised of Su lin, Emily, Sharley, Carly, Amanda Loh, Vivian and me. We played all the games and it was a long time since I have enjoyed competitive netball games. The cheerers and banner people did well. :D 208 was the expected winner as they lost to 105`07 last year due to penalty points.

I LOVE BAND INVASION! its an even sponsored by Nokia and our school was the last stop of the tour. 2 local bands performed including WEST GRAND BOULEVARD. WHOA~ I totally enjoyed it and I think their songs were pretty cool, especially the 2nd song they performed. I can't remember the title though. --" I think its FLIGHT OF FANCY. Well, I guess we have some pretty good homegrown talent as well. :D

Post exam activities are a total waste of time - talks, talks and more talks. Shark conservation and saving the Environment. I've had those talks tones of times... I wonder why they would waste lights and electricity and aircon to put us in the hall just to listen to these talks. ACP was fun, but after that it was a total disaster. Our entire classroom was transformed and I was impressed with how beautiful the classroom looked despite all the limits they put on the budget. The cleaning up was dreadful. Imagine piles of ribbons, trash, glitter and mess. ARgH! I don't want to clean it all up!

Drama Night Auditions were entertaining. It was hilarious man. Me? In a red long sleeves, black tights and a bright yellow bath robe. HOW ON EARTH DO I LOOK LIKE A DUKE. Maybe I should be Mcdonalds. Can't wait for Drama Night to come. All I've been doing is reading manga, books, watching anime, korean drama, jap drama and movies.

I went to Jessie's house yesterday and had lunch at Simei Mall ~ Yakiniku (haha) bento set while Jessie bought sushi for lunch tomorrow. At her house I tried on those weird clothes from Jessie but I thank her for lending them to me. Then we played Monopoly together with her brother. He was really cute and looked identical to Jessie and he went to jail 3 times. I borrowed some stuff and watched Icarly plus some Hong Gil Dong episodes. It was damn funny and I laughed ALOT --"

YAY! I got back some of my results even though Cat Shin forgot to bring my papers. Today was really slack and yet we all still have to get ready for ACP, Net Carnival and Drama Night. Tomorrow is STAND UP SPEAK OUT! 17 Oct to speak out againse poverty. Its not that I don't want to help but is it really possible to wipe out poverty?

Now with the US Financial Crisis, it has affected everyone else's economy... the is a saying that says if you can't even help yourselves, how do you help others? LOL

Anyway, I FINISHED *HAHA* (hana) KIMI (jap version) WHOO! Nakatus and Sano definitely looked hilarious in a mates uniform and evening gown. aHAH! The ending was so good and touching, way better than the other one. I enjoyed it thoroughly. If I can I definitely wanna watch it again. It was only 12 episodes, I want more :( Moving on to the next show: Kimi wa Petto and Hong Gil Dong

The examinations just ended! Whoo! All I can say is that I will pass (I hope) for Maths, Geog, Hist, Lit, Science. I might fail English and Chinese. Well, not in the overall sense but just for this paper. Anyway, its all over! The maths paper was fun doing it... I had fun at least despite the laments from everyone else. I can finally enjoy myself to the limits.

Well, aside from that, I just came down with a bout of flu. Seriously... spoil my entire mood. My head was pounding, my ankles hurt, and I was groggy from the stupid fever and medicine that knocked me out completely yesterday. In other words, I am a sleeping zoombie. Everyone got their papers back already but that Cat Shin refused to tell me anything --" I hope I didn't do that badly.

I just started watching Hana Kimi (JAPAN) version. Knowing the Jap version, I think the Taiwan version is trash. I never liked the acting. It was too unprofessional and those irritating special effects and supercial acting really got on my nerves. Btw, I was never a fan of S.H.E or Wu Zhun, but I do listen to S.H.E songs. I think the Japan version makes more sense, the story has more link and the acting of the actors are so much better. Plus, there is more eye-candy in the Jap version - Sano Izumi :D

Skip Beat anime is finally out! I really love the opening theme and the animation. Its not too bad. I might consider watching out if better quality of the subs come out... not on youtube. Odaijini to myself.

I have officially finished the 3rd paper of the dreaded EYAs. Chinese essay was terrible. English PE was okay. Geog paper was quite bearable... but I wonder how did I really fair. Now I am studying for Literature and English tomorrow. Sigh... I probably won't be able to sleep properly again. I woke up last Saturady screaming 'Tomorrow is Monday!' as I thought I had a Geog paper. LOL!? The geog notes were swarming in my head in and out the entire night. I finally can forget it all. :D

Nobody beats me in Tennis

There is officially 3 more days to the dreaded EYAs. Well, the teachers have been dumping homework, FAs and what nots onto us and returning all the marked assignments suddenly out of the blue that I haven't had time to read through all of them. A few weird things happened today.

1. I didn't fall asleep in class - considering that I woke up at 3 am to do Geog and Lit FA. Must be the hunger from skipping recess and enduring 3 blocks of hunger.

2. SI (Science Investigation), CSI SPA (Crime Scene Investigation Science Practical Assessment), History PT, Maths Assignments, Geog MYA (Mid-Year-Assessment) were returned today. EL PT was returned recently. I passed all of it and got an average of GP 3.6.

3. Why do I always bump into tourist in need of directions when I go home together with Jessie!? The last time was at VivoCity when we were going home from the so-called class outing whereby only 5 of us participated at Sentosa. We met an Australian couple who needed directions to Orchard. Today, we met a China guy who wants to get to City Hall (the building). To make things worst, it was raining heavily. I wonder if the guy managed to find his destination.

4. I just love Edith. She is the best bus predictor - even better than the IRIS service provided. She can predict the next bus accurately and it has been this way for about 4 times in a row... it can't be coincidence right? She disappeared mysteriously on the 190 bus today even though Jessie was sure that she got on the same bus as us. The RGS bus stop today was totally flooded. If we were to take a picture, there would be more than a 100 students at 1 bus stop trying to get into 2 190s. --"

5. I am so high. I just watched Prince of Tennis from 127 to 146. I just love the match whereby Ryoma-sama plays against Sanada (ep 128). And in ep 140-141 (1 hour special ), Tezuka comes back for a short while. It also has got Atobe, Oshitari, Kirihara, Ibu, Kamio, Sengoku, Sanada singing my favourite Ending Theme- WONDERfUL DAYS! 146 marks the start of the Junior West American Invitational Tennis Tournaments. YAY! I laughed so much from watching D. Gray-Man ep 18. Lenalee's brother is one joker with his Kumorins ( so far I, II and III) Allen looked so cute with a Tako head. HAHA!

I completed Prince of Tennis 119 today. Finally its Seigaku vs. Rikkaidai. These are the snapshots of the Teni Puri before the Finals. I thought it was just simply hilarious and couldn't stop laughing.

Tuesday: super slack day. Geography was managable. We are currently doing on population. population pyramid, factors in population growth and studying 2 different policies. Singapore's 'Stop at 2' policy during the 1966 till present the Baby Bonus and 'Have 3 if you can afford it' policies. We are also looking at the China's One-Child Policy.

Music was kind of boring because we are doing computer compositions now. Firstly, the facilities are quite old. I don't mind it but... can you imagine 8 different keyboards playing different tunes at the same time in an enclosed small airconditioned room. The blasting and clashing music was getting on my nerves. Sigh... Overall I did learn some new stuff like chords and accompaniment.

CLE was peer and self evaluation. I felt that the forms that we completed were quite useless. It doesn't really specify what a true evaluation should be like. e.g. asking whether they self reflect or communicate effectively a win-win solution with the usual 'Exemplary', 'Good', 'Developing' choices. Moreover, how would you know if someone self-reflects regularly. You are not that person. Although we were given space to write examples I really couldn't think of anything to write. For example, the options says that she abides the school rules. Am I supposed to list out all the different rules that she follow. e.g. She switches off her phone during class !?

I believe that evaluation should have a rubrics but not a rigid one. If should leave space to write like what your impression and how your encounters with that person has been. If you think that this person has got leadership skills than write down. An evaluation should be free-for-all with a rubrics. Students are humans and people, not products or an essay that is easy to read. You can't possibly grade someone 6/10 for character or anything else. Imagine having a GPA of 4.0 for Character and Leadership Development. Won't it sound and feel weird?

Just last week, a cockroach flew into the bathroom from the window while I was bathing. Dismissing as nothing more than a moth, I bathed in peace. When I was about to change into my clothes, it crawled out and started flying. Obviously, I freaked out. It nearly landed on me and I was not done changing. I wore my clothes and ran out screaming as soon as I got the chance to. That was a little joke and my mum had to catch the cockroach for me while I change my clothes properly. Sigh!

There is no more CCA. I can finally go home at 3 and 1.30pm for the next few week. Enjoy the bliss while it lasts. Today I was really careless. I ate at the Malay Stall - Roti John with Rice, egg, and vegetables. In a hurry, I forgot to take my change from the Uncle. So imagine $10 disappearing for no reason. After school, my slow self finally realised the missing money (I still can't believe myself) I went down to the canteen and used the no. that they left in front of the stall to contact the Uncle. He was so kind as to wait for me to collect the money after school from him. THANK YOU UNCLE! Honto ni Arigatou!

The weekends was quite slack and okay. Yesterday, I celebrated by brother's birthday together with the twins in my family - Caleb and Daniel. They had a really cool cake with lego toy and a specially designed cake. My brother's cake was blueberry cheese cake. This is just havenly. I ate quite abit together with jelly mooncake filled with red bean paste. My brother has just turned 17 and his J1 promos will be next week, what a way to celebrate your birthday.

I have been doing maths - mensuration from morning 4am until 4pm. My mom wanted to drag me to do similar triangles and I flared up because I was so tired and easily irritated.

The first 4 days of school has passed (very slowly indeed) and some amusing things have happened. Monday was fine other than staying back late for CCA. CCA on Wednesday was really slack as we had badge time. Before CCA we were so bored so I decided to try out the Elaine Goh version of the Hitsugaya joke on Karen's blog. HAHA! Wednesday was slack - we did computer music arrangements for the song LAND BEFORE TIME. Why do I always end up pairing CAT!? Sigh... We watched China's lost girls which was this really sad story about the effects of the China one-child policy. Like girls getting dumped/aborted or abandoned due to the preference of boys. And then teenage/middle age girls getting kidnapped and then sold as wives to men who cannot find wives due to this gender imbalance. Husbands divorcing and pressuring their wives to give birth to baby boys. HELLO, your wive is NOT A COW! WHY THE HECK ARE THE GIRLS getting the bulk of TORTURE, when you guys are so gender bias. Being a chinese as well, I wonder what so important about passing the familiy name having their own security. THERE IS A DAMN LIFE AT STAKE HERE. Sometimes I find tradition really stupid but I am a chinese too. If guys are so damn good, go give birth one yourself and don't forget that all guys come from their mothers. Don't insult your own mother. I feel like I need to vent my anger and I guess this is one of the places. If I said anything insulting I'm sorry, but this is the truth and how I feel about it.

Enough... Thursday was a long day, but we all survived it. We shifted sitting arrangements again. This time, Catherine and Jessie are sitting beside me. We have started a new topic for science and it is called Creative Problem Solving. Its something like OM but much much simpler. I didn't know that this could be graded into your GPA><>

Miss Picca told us about her brother today. About how genius he was, reading a thick volume of encyclopedia about the different species of dogs at 6. And he would drive the family crazy with his questions. When his dog craze was over, he started on another encyclopedia on horses. HAHA!

Thursday, I had to go back to school for OM cleanup from 8 - 10am. It was quite fun but it was a dirty job. We cleaned tables, arranged Spontaneous materials, carried wood from the GE resource room to the D 'n' T and we arranged and tied poles. Then I went to class to study and finish up my CSI graphing. I met up with Catherine at the Tang's bus stop. We had to syncronise our timings to get onto the same bus to Cathay Cineleisure. There, we met up with Kim and Nat. YAY! finally get to watch the long-awaited - HANA YORI DANGO (HYO) We smuggled in yummy korean goodies from the Sol Mart.

In the cinema, the teens in the cinema were practically screaming at every frame of the movie. The name also scream. Sigh... the couple (Domyoujii and Tsukushi) are still the ever comical people. Domyoujii looks like a rock, said the F word at an Eurasian and then made terrible Japanese language errors with cold feet and wet feet. (Apparently it means different things in Jap) They went into Las Vegas to gamble (something you should not try at home) and then lost 5 million US dollars after Domyoujii jumped onto the table, hitting the ball of the '00' spot which they placed their entire bet in. In the finale, They got married. At first they showed a pair of white shoes, and the girls started screaming as they thought it was Rui. Unfortunately, it was Domyoujii. Rui was actually the priest in the wedding and it was such a joke. Domyoujii earned himself the world's slowest guy in the ending. Makino was trying to hint at him that she was pregnant and it took FOREVER to realise.

Friday was supposed to be class outing day. However, only 7 turned up at Vivo City and only 5 of us went for the class trip to Sentosa - Jessie, Kimberly, Natalie, Elaine and I. Pathetic but I was kind up relieved. :D Because, if not I would have to act as a class chair on the trip which will be no fun at all. The day ended up with us owing each other money. I'll be sure to pay you guys back!

We took the tram and went to the beach to have fun for a while. There we looked for shells, got a little wet, tried building sandcastles but failed and then lost the beach ball which flew off somewhere when we were playing. Then we went for the Skyride and Luge. The skylift was not bad. The only problem was that we were wearing slippers and risked dropping them down and never finding them again. We then took the go-cart down. I'm never sitting in Elaine's future car if she does get a license. The way she drove the go-cart was scary. The guy stamped the 'LUGE' thing on our hands and I couldn't get it off until today.

We got lost trying to get to Underwater World and tried out the new Japanese tourist formula - 4 taking Jap, one watching animes:D. It kind of didn't work so we switched back. We were supposed to take the bus, and we got really pissed there. (won't say why). Underwater World was cool but VERY expensive. I'm not going back to Sentosa until they complete the Universal Studios there. Sentosa is a very expensive place. Maybe we should have gone to Escape Theme Park instead. I love the travelator with the cool glass cage. I think the pictures would do the better talking instead. On the MRT home, Jessie and I met this Australian couple who we helped to get to Orchard. Went home exhausted after that. ZZzzzz...

Saturday. Morning was hellish. I had drill test and had to reach the Serangoon school by 7 which means getting up at 6am in the morning to wear the uniform. Morever, I spent 1 hour polishing my boots to shine. That is 10 times the usual amout that I usually spent. At the school, it was uniform check, uniform check, uniform check, then drill, drill drill under the hot sun and on the wet basketball court. When the entire ordeal was over, I was over the moon. I sure don't want to fail and repeat this entire thing again. NO!!

Lunch was okay at a coffee shop in Serangoon. 4pm was SL. I went to the Pasa Malam to but stuff for the kids. This will be the last session that we will be having. We will be stopping to study for the coming EYAs. I will sure miss the kids. (: I slept the soundest yesterday from 6pm all the way to 5am. Of course I got up to eat dinner but I was so groggy that I didn't know what I was eating.

Sunday. The last day of the holidays :( Had church in the morning. At PS(plaza singapura) my mum paid $5 to make a Gundam (mini version called Gundam Astray) at the place. It was really cool. Then I was rushing last minute homework. Next post will be on Tennis no Ojisama!

I cut my hair! Don't worry, I don't think its that short, in fact I think its pretty okay. The salon was having a hair-rebornding sale at $69 the entire holiday. My mum asked me if I wanted to reborn my hair, but I told her not. I like my hair the way it is and I will not reborn, perm, colour or do anything permanently to damage it. Its unique with a weird 'history' and I plan to keep it like that. :D

I finished All the Trigonometry problems in the assessment book and have started on Mensuration. Sigh... holidays are really pathetic. Especially holidays right before the End-of -Years. Just for fun, I shall introduce 2 new mangas that I just read.

1st: Adarshan Hanayome

It has only got 3 chapters so far. But I was really shocked after reading it. If you think that Meru Puri was bad, having a 16 year old girl marry a guy 4 years younger that her. Then you would die of shock in this one. Except this one might probably be easier to accept as the guy is older that the girl at least but its a 10 year old child and a 20 year old guy! (note: this is a political marriage)

2nd: Bloody Kiss

If you are looking for a shorter and sweeter (not so full of dark and forebrooding atmosphere) version of Vampire Knight, you might want to try this. Although there are only 2 vampires (one of them featured in the pictures called Kuroboshi) and they are not as sophisicated as Kaname or tragic like Zero from Vampire Knight, its quite a good substitude. It kind of has a nice ending to it. Plus, its only 6 chapters. I'm sure anyone can finish that in a couple of hours instead of waiting for chapters every month. :D

KYA!! I just watched episode 63 of Tennis no Ojisama. It is entirely in Chibi form and they are so cute. ARGH! Even Tezuka looks cute. OMG!*reverting back to normal state* I woke up at 1am this morning to read 3 Scenes of Act 3. The entire portion of Bassanio choosing the caskets and then declaring his love for her. I didn't have a very good apetite after that. Then I tried out the English comprehension and realise that I didn't understand half of the entire passage. I then came out into the living room. The entire house was silent and calm... just the way I like it. I turned on the computer and attempted the 3 quizzes in moodle and complete the Bronze, Silver and Gold once. Took me 2 hours. Sigh...

After that was piano time and then TENNIS TIME! I did maths listening to the Prince of Tennis and La Corda D'orio soundtracks.Kahori chan had her piano examination today and she was counting down the time to it by smsing me. My dad fell ill today, must take care of my dad. :D Get Well soon! 1st day of holiday gone!

Today is the start of the long-awaited September holidays after Teacher's Day. The celebration was quite cool, it wasn't boring at least and the jokes were entertaining. After that, Charla and I returned to Kong Hwa to see Mrs Han. On the way, we met up with Claudia, Hui Han, Justin Tan, Joshua, Guan Koi, Cheng Sin, Rui Liang, Aaron, Yen Yi, Pearl and Jia Ling. Joshua is definitely taller than Karen now :D and she is gonna get real angry. Justin looks like he is 175+. No difference in the rest. Met Ulanda, Beckie and Hsin Tong in school, together with Mr Low and Miss Goh. They changed the names of the classess. ARGGHH~ I don't like it. Imagine 6 patience, 1 tolerance and 2 humility. I still prefer the old one.

I am playing the piano again... no more exam pieces but I will be playing Bach 2-3 part inventions, and I started playing the song called Ave Maria. I liked it when I watched La Corda D'Orio. I might try some of the classical songs inside as well. I completed my maths worksheet and the assignment - testing for congruency.

BLEACH MOVIE 3 is out. Advanced tickets selling in Japan opens 30 August, which was yesterday! It will be released on 13th December `08It is entitled FADE TO BLACK: I call your name, starring Kuchiki Rukia. If I am not wrong, this is an IchiRuki movie.

BLEACH MOVIE 2 is out on DVD. :D

Hana Yori Dango Movie is coming out in Singapore in 4 Sep`08. Looking forward to it!

Yo! I am back from my piano examinations :D *sigh of relieve* I screwed up the starting of the 1st song. The rest was okay.. I hope. Sight singing was a terrible sin. I sang the first 4 notes in tune, then after that I don't know where I went. At least the guy was not a grumpy examiner. At the end, he asked me what period the song was from and I said classical and it was like waltz, and a lively dance. OPPS maybe there was a mistake there. Then he asked sacarstically (in my opinion) how many beats are there in bar and I answered three. He chuckled (evil)and told me that I was done. Remembering it gives me creeps.

I had Oral timing duty yesterday and I finished 20 questions of Pythagoras Theorem problem sums. Today is slack day: but I am kind of tired. *yawn* The only thing that perked me up was seeing the kawaii board with L and Light on it! KYA!! Timing was boring. In fact, doing maths was the only thing that kept me awake. Thank God I asked my mum for it this morning.

Music was fun... we tried to sing the 'Phantom of the Opera" with out terrible voices. And trust me, you would never want to listen to us sing again after you hear it. Hoshie-chan was quite good. She managed to reach the 2nd octave. We have just finished jive - 2 basic, 2 change of place, 2 american spin, promenade, twist and 1 basic. We have now started on Salsa. WHOA! It doesn't really suit my taste and much more does it NOT suit Cat Shin. I just can't imagine Cat Shin dancing Salsa. If she does, its something I will pay to watch!

Well, I have oral examination and speech and drama examinations tomorrow. Ganbatte to everyone and myself. I have to think of my Piano Exam and the Dance exam that clashes next tuesday. I'm probably going to die. See my grave soon!

Lit Quote, Chinese PT, Geog paper, Maths Paper and Chinese 公函is over:D O sure I did screw up some of them, but I don't really care. Now, I am just going to comcentrate on the rest ahead of me. I only hope that I don't fail maths... not that I am terrible in it but the paper was tough. 8 tough question in 1 hour. That is about less than 5 mins for each question. Plus one of them included drawing a graph.

Olympics 2008 has started. The opening ceremony was fantabulous... but now, there are many people talking about the dubbed singing of the Chinese song 《歌唱祖国. Anyway, it was a good job well done for a first timer and a rapidly developing country like China... I'm sure all the Chinese are proud to be Chinese :D

Well, that was 1 day before the National Day celebration. National Day was great... except I was not really in a mood to celebrate. I am definitely thankful for the country's independence but the task at hand now is my examinations and the random test and reports and PTs that I have to hand in within the course of this entire week. The entire week is just going to cave in all around me. Sigh!

Today... was a the longest day ever. I screwed up part of the Lit Quote. (or so I think) Plus, I'm going to study my head off for Chinese PT tmr. Taihen desu!

National Day photos. This year's celebration was not too bad. It was quite entertaining and I really enjoyed myself, jumping around with friends, releasing balloons from the 3rd floor. And then popping them downstairs. The entire event started with a formal parade at the Parade Square and the address statement of the GOH and Principal. We then shifted to the Amphitheatre. We had fancy drill by the uniform groups, whereby Jessie was participating. Angklung, Dance and Indian Dance all gave entertaining performances. The Sec 3s had a runway show which made everyone roll over with laughter. Since when did people attach Singapore Flyers on their head and had spikes on their chest due to the Esplanade? The house cheerleaders lead us in the Singapore cheer which sounded more like a chant than an attempt to rap. All these were celebrated with the German/French/Vietnamese visitors we had.

I went home straight away to catch up on some sleep and watch the Beijing Olympics.

1st August, we went for a post-Learning-Journey trip to the HDB tour. During the bus ride, 3/4 of the class was asleep on the coach while the tour guide chatter away. Its not that we mean to be rude or anything but everyone has had a long week and a tiring day.

I'm all drained out and I will be studying my head off (note:this is censored) plus I have my literature quote coming up, with 3 test, piano exam, English Oral Examination, English PT and Chinese PT. I am so going to die.... I might be in heaven before you even see me.

Today's Aesthetics lesson was the finishing up of our paper sculpturing projects - the HATs. We had a mock fashion runway show in the room to 'showcase' our designs, and we were to model out own hats. Catherine Shin became our MC because she didn't bring her hat.

In conjuction with Youth Day, RGS held Be Yourself Day. It was fun wearing home clothes, but I wouldn't want to fret over what to wear everyday. At least with a uniform, I can just pick it out and wear without worrying. I was hoping for a more wild dress code like cosplaying or something... but there were too many restrictions. I might try it next year if they ever have the chance :D
