Hello everyone,

Finally I get to post and I am going to make it short cause I dun haf the time. Well, school's fine and I am getting use to all the work. I have to brush up on my geography. Well, If I ever see that horrible security guard that chased us out of Kong Hwa, I am going to give him my *death glare*. We all take time to visit the school and we barely have the time to yet he chase us away. If other schools can receive their ex-students with hospitality I dun see y our school even let us go in. Got some of my friends even the principal come out and receive them. Its like getting kicked out of some place that you use to and thought you would always belong. Whatever shit they were talking about your school being your second home. Talking about this really makes my head boil so I shall just sign off here.

YAy, I am back :)/ 9:10 PM

Hello everyone :)

Didn't you miss me? (learnt from Jody) This week was full of fun and laughter in learning. For Aesthetics, we are doing sewing and needlework. (we are not housewives :( ) It is really quite fun. We just learnt how to use the sewing the sewing machine and learned how to sew a pin cushion. For History, we have been peacely arguing who the founder of Singapore is. So in the end we concluded this: Ancient Singapore: Sang Nila Utama, Colonial Singapore: Sir Stamford Raffles, William Farquhar (pronouce this properly or...) and John Crawford last but not least, modern Singapore: Mr Lee Kuan Yew and his cabinet of ministers. For Georg, we have been learning how to read maps (so mush so for longitudes). We also have been just informed that Singapore is actually in the wrong time zone. When you use emails, note that Singapore is GMT +0800 but we should be GMT +0700. We are one hour ahead of time. The reason, because of the British, we moved half an hour ahead. Then the Malaya thought that since Singapore and Malaya was merging, we should all have the same timing so in the end we moved another half an hour. So in total, we are one hour ahead of time. For Literature, we have been listening to some pop songs to find the different types of rhymes in them and the different beats. Cool huh? For Chinese, we are currently learing mother's heart (direct translation) For Maths, we are doing about real number systems (weird, there are no fake numbers) For physics, we are doin measurements, so confusing ): And last but not least we have Philosophy. (So chim right?) It is a funny and interesting lesson filled with quality discussion and laughter:)
Our P.I.T (prefect in training) is going crazy over Rain. Thank God he is no longer in Singapore or we will all go deaf. She also attended Pain's concert. Imagine spending $488 on a piece of paper to see Rain. Incredible. I am looking forward to class reunion in MARCH!! and I am looking forward to seeing everyone on Chinese New Year! I am going to see Mrs Han with Charla and Karen Next Mon, hope the security guard does not chase us out. Anyway, GBU always!!

Sunday, January 21, 2007

Helloooo everyone. Yeah, just to update you guys on what is happening here, the LESSONS have STARTED!!!! We have homework liao ): O and I have gone for art and craft club trials, netball trials and handbell trials. I had to skip my PSL sessions just because of the handbell trials. So sad... *cry* History is fun. At least it is not like the primary skool type where you get to noe history and then memorise dates and facts. Thats so super boring. At least down here you get to argue your ideas about history. We just had a commonwealth essay last Fri and IT WAS ON MY B'DAE! :( I also had trials on my B'dae an only went home at 6.15 :( O, i think I forgot to tell you that it was my b'dae on 19 Jan. Thank God for creating and for all my friends out there. Well GBU always. For all those January Babies out there like Yu Long, Happy belated and non-belated b'dae :)

Wednesday, January 10, 2007

Hello, Long time no post liao... too busy with orientation. The orientation programme in RGS is nine days long and the theme is heart to heart (from our school song) The PSL, JPSL and prefects are all very enthu and kind. (: We had RI (Raffles Initiation) and had to cheer extremely loud and low. In the end I had soar throat ): We have finished our class flag and our mascot is Patrick Star. We have oso completed the cheer and the short skit that we are to perfrom this Saturday. I made many many new friends. They had this angel and mortal thingy and the angelz started giving us letters. We got to noe our subject teachers, form teacher and CLE teacher. The time table in RGS is totally different from the one I had in Primary School. I guess I have to take some time to adjust. Well, thats all for now. God Bless!
