Lifes going full swing as usual and I barely have time to even take a break. Things that I have been currently doing are as follows. I'm going to try and make it short and sweet.

1. Netball IHG. It was a blast of a time although we did not really have enought people. Thus. we ended up combining both the C Div and the B Div. Hadley lost to Tarbet, drew 1 game with Waddle and won 2 games with Buckle and Richardson. In the end, we won 1st in a tied postion with Waddle, Tarbet and Richardson tied for 2nd place and Buckle got 3rd. This is a really rare situation. So now I have 2 golden tags hanging proudly above my dresser. All those who couldn't turn up really missed out on alot :D My specs got crashed and I went to Optical 88 to get it fixed. He told me my specs might conk out anytime.

2. I went to watch TALENT VOGUE. The show was terribly entertaining, especially the girl who sang an Alicia Keys song and a duet between 2 sec 3 girls. The Basketballers were damn freaking funny and I couldn't stop myself from laughing hard. The judges were dressed like a fashion disaster. 1 had a mop on her head and Mr De Souza had a white suit complete with a hat and sun glasses. But the Talent vogue people gave him a red nose. HAHA. The auditon process was damn funny. Firstly, there was the interview with Sharon and the other TV MCs.

we had the word "skitting" inside. and the "I'm not a geek ad", plus the infamous "what would you like the audiences to take back with them" lines:D

A group of teachers performed as a band, 2 playing the guitar and a bass guitar, then a flute. It is really cool seeing the teachers breaking off from their usual stereotypes. All teachers can be fun too, you just have to notice it. The Finale was Mr Toh singing. OMG... I never knew that he could sing that well. Morever, he dyed his hair brown, was wearing white specs and a white top and jeans....

3. I have been doing homework and studying like crazy... I think I need not elaborate more on this.

4. I read finish Meru Puri by Hino Matsuri. And the BLEACH fillers will be ending soon. I'm looking forward to a continuation to the normal ones...

5. I had a BBQ with my YSG at my friends house near Paragon. It is at Cairnhill. There, ate and had fun... and reached home at 11.30pm. I almost got scolded. --"

6. I had SL again... and this is the 2nd time already. The kids are really warm despite their disabilities and I sure have learnt alot together with them. Like being patience and understanding. Sometimes they do things that are quite unexplainable, but ultimately, they are just like us, with feeling and emotion and the need to express themselves through a suitable platform. Learning to communicate with them takes time and hard work with little progress, but I enjoyed the lessons with them :D I really "kow tow" to their parents...and I am glad to know that there are parents who care. Always count your blessings and know that you are truly a blessing from God to me.

7. Cat Shin... another joker in class made a terrible blunder. She got Obama and Osama mixed up during English class, causing us fits of laughter.

Terrible day, my legs are aching from the 1 1/2 hour of drill that we had today, just plainly doing belok and static drill. I could really use a massage of any kind now. Plus, the day was really long... but Literature brightened up my day. We watched this really hilarious play on Shakespear. The introduction was done starting with this guy who preached like a pastor. The 2nd one was funnier. The guy came up, dropped his notes, fumbled, and started introducing William Shakespear, born in blah blah, living in blah blah blah. Then comes the funny part. He was married to a Roman Catholic (?) and he lived in Poland, killed thousands of Jews (?) and commited suicide at such and such a date (!?) Is he describing William Shakespear or the Nazi called Hitler? haha

The rest was about Romeo and Juliet. It was just plain hilarious. The words and quotes were all correct but very differently interpreted, that everyone burst out laughing. :D

I went for Angklung performance entitled Volitare at RGS Hall on the 17th June. It was a really cool performance and I enjoyed it totally. Firstly, we had the RGS Angklung perform a few songs, then a join performance with Angklung groups from 6 other schools. A special performance was put up by an overseas school and I was really impressed. The way they fused contemporary music together with the traditional Angklung music to play music of the high standard modern pop and other genres really blew me away. I enjoyed it :D I used to think that attending these performances were nothing but a waste of time, I guess I changed my mind. Plus I got a school support activity. Relaxing in good music and fulfilling the school's rules, hey! its killing 2 birds with 1 nice pretty stone.

I woke up thinking that something was amiss on Thursday. Downstairs, there was nobody other than Nicole. Both of us are from RGS and we are waiting for the school bus. I thought that I was late. I just woke up to the reality that RGS will be starting school 2 days earlier than the rest of Singapore. --"

School was fun. I had photo taking for Sec 2 Class Chairperson but I totally forgot that I had photo taking for GB on Friday and I didn't bring my full-uniform, so I didn't go anyway. The 1st two days may be slack, but its so sad that our holiday would end 2 days earlier. :D Lessons were as per normal and nothing more.

This is what I have been up to during the June holidays.

1. Learning how to roller blade at the East Coast Park. (I haven't fallen down yet)
2. Reading Times, Newsweek and National Geographic magazines. Including Broader Perspective
3. Reading this You Jin book for Chinese
4. Doing my Chinese Pt and History Pt (almost completed)
5. Watching The Legend ( the Korean Drama) my conclusion is that its a nice show but the ending is so anti climax that you would feel like punching your computer screen if you do happen to watch it on the computer
6. Watching Bleach fillers, Gundam 00
7. Reading M to N shouzou, Gakuen Alice, Goong
8. Having extra piano lessons of 2 hours each and practising like a mad women

Well, thats about it. There goes my June holidays. RGS is starting school 2 days earlier than the entire Singapore. What the!! But fear not, we will be getting back our 'holiday' in July so we still get the last laugh.

This is the 'Mozart' Hat that my sister completed at Plaza Singapura. Its rather interesting and I guess it is a good idea. That somewhat reminds me of my paper sculptor homework that I haven't done. Sigh....

We went to this exhibition before but because I forgot to bring my camera, I told my mum to take pictures instead when they went there the next week while I was at GB Coporal's Camp. The exhiition was about all the creepy crawlies that you see e.g. butterflies, beetles and bees etc. The wings of the butterflies were indeed amazing and I really loved the beautiful colour conbinations that highlighted the different and unique speicies of each type. :D

Went to watch Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian today. Going to camp tomorrow until the 11 June. This is mortifying to me but looks like I have no choice but to comply with the teachers demands. How I wish I can just continue my normal lifestyle doing work and then go surf the internet. I will miss watching The Legend for 1 Sunday. haha but I have already watched it on mysuju.com :D

Went to Vivio City to watch 2 movies; my dad and sister watched Kung Fu Panda while my mum and I watched The Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian. This was after my back checkup at the hospital. So far it has stabalised with an 8 degree curve. Thank God it did not progress or I would have to wear plastic braces. For now, its correcting my posture till the next checkup 1 year later. :D I ate Korean food at the Food Republic. It was rather nice, comparing it to the one I ate in Korea. The was this interesting see-through table with fishes swimming through it. It was quite cool but wasn't really that practical. I mean, would you want to remove your table top just to feed fishes and clean the 'tank'? NAh... definitely not me, so to me, the table is only for the look but is too much hassle to own unless you've got a really trusty maid.

I went down early in the morning to jog at the gym, and took a walk. Noticing some of the plants bloomed flowers when I never knew they could, I decided to take pictures of some of them:D It was like walking in my own "Sakura season" here is Singapore, where all the flowers were blooming. However, I didn;t bring my camera and it was too late by time I went down. The rain had already destroyed them :(
