"Defence! Defence!" the SCGS girls were shouting...

This is the best shot made by RGS. The girl shot the ball and it landed on the rim without dropping down. the judges should have given us 10 points for that (:

This is one of the scoreboards that I took. This is not the last one. I could not take the last one cause my cam went out of battery.
Today was so super exciting. :D First we had a game of netball during P.E., then we had our History test and a lesson on Haiku for Literature. Wait this is not all. I went for the support school activity for the Basketball 'B' Div. South Zone Finals for RGS against SCGS. It was held at Toa Payoh Stadium. Our girls did our school proud and I am so proud of Natasha, out hadlian vice captain. In the beginning, RGS was trailing behind with a score of 0-2. However, they managed to pull up their score and RGS started winning 8-4. There were a few highlights and a few funny incidents though. First, while one of the RGS girl was shooting, the ball landed on the rim and did not come down. I think that the judges should give us 10 points for that. It is really a feat to do that. Imgaine shooting the ball with the right amount of energy so that it will land on the rim during competition pressure. Another is that two of the RGS basketballers actually helped the SCGS team score 4 points. I dont' know why, maybe they were too pressurized and forgot that they were supposed to shoot into the other goal. I don't know but basketball really seems like really rough game. Two RGS girls and one SCGS girl fell and ws injured. However, if we all play professionally, this would not happen. I am so proud of our RGS basketballers. When they saw that their teamates were injured, they immediately stretchered their own players out without waiting for the medical doctors to come running over to help.
In the end, RGS won well with a score of 54-38. The RGS basketballers were overjoyed and hugged one another. I would like to praise the SCGS girls. They were very automatic on cheering and they screamed and cheered out their lungs for their school. This showed that they were united. Their players, although rough during the game, had good sportsmanship and accepted defeat with grace. Well done RGS and SCGS :)
I do not mean any offence but the SCGS girls really cheer very high... After we left the Stadium, the was another match taking place which was Gan Eng Seng against Catholic High. I wondered who won... Anyway, me, Wen Qi and Carey took a cab back to school just in time for the Learning Journey Week Briefing. Just in case you don't know what Learning Journey Week is, it is a week where all normal lessons are canceled and we go out and do numerous projects as a group. Well, tomorrow is Swim Carnival :D All the Best to all swimmers out there :)
