Finally the terrible MYAs are over... planned to go celebrating on Last Thursday, 10 May, Thursday right after Maths paper and the RBD rehersal. That morning, we were all trying to clear up last minute concepts.

RGS's examination style is totally different from Kong Hwa (my old school). Before the test, everyone has to take out all their belongings except their pencil cases and needed stuff and leave the room while the invigilator distribute the pape. This leaves no room for cheating.

During the 1st day, waiting outside the classroom, made me feel a little nervous. It was the English composition. I feel that the compo would have been done better, I just did not really have anything to write for that 2 topics and I did not want to venture into anything new. I just hope that I passed.

We had an hour break. Whoo! :D Unusually long... we only have about 30 mins on a usual day. History paper was next. I spotted all the right question on the citadel. It should not be much of a problem unless... I dunno what can happen.

Tuesday was English paper 2. The passage was about a boy who was branded crazy because he did not come home for a few days just to sit in trees. And he sat there for a few days. It was that hard except it had lots of questions that started with "In your own words". It was a really tricky paper actually. The summary was harder than I expected. Instead of 120 words, they changed it to 110 words only and we had to cramp in so much information.

Literature was about this old woman. She is lonely and does not want time to can and make her body grow old or something like that. I think I got part of it right. I hope

Chinese Paper 2 was quite okay. That one was not much of a problem. The questions were to the point but there were ones that asked for your opinion.

PHYSICS.. *Groan* Don't even mention that paper to me. I think I screwed it up. The questions were so hard and there was barely enough time. I did not even manage to finish 2 question. Bye bye 8 marks :( I pass very happy already. I am going to celebrate if I even DO pass.

Geography was quite good. The topic was on weather. Only 4 questions and they were all what we've studied before. Miss Wong had gone through that topic tons of time. I did not even feel worried about that paper. :D However, I think I did not really do well for one question. I missed out quite a bit.

Thursday was Maths paper. It was quite easy... except, I made a few very silly mistakes. Like reading 35000 as 3500. Get the WIDE difference. Lol :D I think this Maths exam paper should be quite well done as compared to the last one. Lets hope... when the results come out. We actually planned to do RBD (Raffles Book Day) right after the Maths exam after a half hour break at 9.30am. But they told us last minute that we had a compulsory meeting for our Science Assessment at 9.20am in the CLC (Cyber Learning Centre). Sigh... always liddat one. Inform us so late. The meeting lasted for about 40mins but that one meeting shattered our hopes of enjoying the rest of the week and dampened our mood of celebrating the end of MYAs but we still went on anyway. We had to complete that entire thing by next Friday.

We had our RBD practice. It was quite hilarious... really :D We did the scene of Jane Eyre (pronounced: air) in the red room haunted by the toilet paper of Mr Reed. And the scene of the 'fainting' of the all the beautful ladies when Mr Rochester sneezes. Never done something quite as hilarious as this. (:

We headed for the gates out of school at 11 to get to Kim Seng to bowl. Little did we know that the bowling alley was only open at 12.00nn. We then decided to get lunch at Great World first and Karen, Adalie and I went to get the tickets to SPIDERMAN 3. Whoo!! Started bowling at around 12.10pm.

Got plenty of 'long gang' balls and laughed at ourselves like a fool. Wei Zhen got a double strike! So pro. Jan got the highest score, followed by Poonam. Adalie finally tried bowling after much persuasion by everyone. She took over me and I took over Jan. Jan hurt herself while playing. Hope it would heal soon. My highest score was only somewhere in 90. So lousy... must 加油! It was really fun and Karen finally managed to understand why. The feeling of rolling the ball and hitting down the little pins had a tinge of exhilaration. :D

At 1.30pm, we rushed over to the cinemas and bought a gigantic bucket of popcorn and a drink to share. To calculate the price we each had to pay, we used a calculator. Remember our Maths exam earlier? The lady was quite surprised --" She gave us 2 plastic bag and helped us to distribute the popcorn. Thank you !!

And guess what, SPIDERMAN 3 is a PG show. Karen, Adalie and I entered the cinemas even without being stopped. So wierd. They don't even check!? o_O" The show was enjoyable, funny and VERY VERY exciting. The part where the secratary was reminding the boss to take his high blood pressure pills were funny. Everyone was laughing in the cinemas. Also, the part on the girl selling the camera to the boss. He actually got ripped of by a young girl who sold him a camera for $100 plus 'Film is extra charged' :) The part where Peter Parker was trying to propose to MJ in the restaurant was funny although it was not so funny too. Venom was creepy... it gave me goose bumps. The gross iky thing that slims on the floor, yet they like the suit. POWER I guess. I nearly jumped in fright when venom came out of no where and grabbed Spiderman. Boy, my heart was beating (even though Karen informed me that it would be from no where)

The show finished just in time for the shuttle bus. 4.30pm. I need to reach home by 7pm. Perfect timing. At city hall station, Karen and I actually took the wrong train. Thank God we discovered it early :D

Anyway, Congrats to all those who have finished their exams and those who have not, 加油 :)
