Spent my Christmas baking cookies (whoever does that --") It was really fun. It was another requested made by my sister after I went to baking class earlier in November. This one was chocolate minus the chip cookies. The first part was the folding and mixing of the butter and pre-mixed floor well together. You should be able to get a soft, but creamy, ice-cream like texture. Not too wet and not too dry. MY HAND IS ACHING from all the stiring and mixing for the butter. It is seriously not easy to do. Thank God that the work was shared by me, my sister (who didn't do much and only played) and my father. This took up most of the effort.

Then there is the putting of small amounts of the mixture onto the tray. DO NOT PUT THEM CLOSELY together. They will all join and stick together. You may get cookie bread/cake rather than cookies. The shape will also be disfigured. Next, there is a way to put the little small amounts on the tray. IF YOU love crisp and crunchy cookies, ensure that you do not squeeze the mixture. If you do, all the air inside will escape, the crisp taste will be gone. The trick to this is making the cookie into a round smooth shape without squeezing it.

I could smell the aroma of the cookies and could not resist the temptation of eating it. So when the first batch of cookies came out, I shared half of it with my sister. Hmmm.... it was heavenly. My dad and mom both tried one each. In total we baked 5 batches, and 100 over cookies. So I decided to give them to some of my friends. :D Baking isn't that bad, I may consider trying to do another kind of cookie, or even cupcakes. Ja Na!!
