Another school day. Bye holidays, hello PTs, hello homework, hello teachers and goodbye to nice and long sleeps. I forgot to bring Catherine Shin’s present again. Gomenasai! Morning Assembly in the parade square was cancelled due to the rain. YAY! Not that I’m happy it is, its just that I am too lazy to climb 4 stories down and then back up again. My classroom is on the 4th floor. And the CLE lesson was started by Mr. Joseph Toh. He did a spot check on the cleanliness of the classroom – something that he is particularly sensitive about.

We were assigned a game, whereby we had to arrange ourselves outside our class according to out class register and then our birth dates. Back in the class, he ‘requested’ that we share our experience with the class. It was silence – no on spoke. He started to point out random people and we had weird answers like: I learnt that I can do things and communicate even without talking. And philosophical ones like: I learnt that when we all know what to do and how to do it, the only things is to do it even though there are many constraints. LOL

It seems like both out form and CLE teacher have a problem with our class chair’s name. Mrs. Poon cannot remember the name and the face. Mr. Joseph Toh spelled her name as : Wei. Where did the ‘Zhen’ portion go?

We played a 2nd game, another one is silence. Due to Mr. Toh’s 1st theory: Since we are all in class, plus the other classes, we should play it in silence and not let them know we are having fun. –“ Very interesting… He distributed paper with a word on it. In silence, we were supposed to find another person from who-knows-where with the same word. Mine was pear… and my partner is (Gomen again!!) I forgot her name. Arghh!

Recess was normal, went gawking at the mangas in the bookstore while Catherine bought hair clips. In the toilet, Catherine was like

“Hey, who do you use this thing?”
Pause
“It does not work… my hair still comes down.”
Pause *remove hair clips *
And I went –“

The Sec 4s in-charge of our class never appeared, so we had an entire free block. So I spent it doing the picture thing that I was assigned to do yesterday. The dateline is tomorrow. And I completed the picture of an RGS leaning against the wall for Karen. :D (except the hand... dunno how to draw) I feel so mean, like I’m doing voodoo or something. I had to cut off people’s heads. arms and hair as well to squeeze the photos into the small little space they provided.

The assembly was HORRIBLE. I don’t think I need to spell that out any further. The discipline talk was fine, there were some minor changes and major changes. About the SOM thing - School Office Module. And that after 5.30 in school can use handphones anywhere. And on weekends, anywhere but remain in silent mode. :D Also, by staying without bookings for each term, you can contribute to your house.

The rest of the talk was like er... about the time table. Don't get me wrong. I'm not like being ungrateful that he explained the entire thing in detail to us. Thanks. But he was purposely delaying us from going home and he said everything at least 4 times. Be precise man.. and concise. We all have a limit that we can handle. Do teachers know how uncomfortable it is to sit on the floor in this cramp position without any stretching for 2 hours? --" Went home with Karen and Catherine. Had a good anime chat on the train.
