Restoran...
traditional stilt houses that you cannot find in Singapore

Guys... don't fall in.

They rear chickens too

Mini gardens
This is the restaurant that we ate at. Had a hearty meal of fresh fish, prawns, tofu, xiao bai cai, chicken wings and some fishball with flour. We finished all the dishes accept 2 chicken wings and soem fishballs. We even had a competition of who eats the most prawns. I ate none of course. I can't remember the winner though.
Police posing with durians :D
pretty shells as ornament

Careful! Don't fall off. We were trying to squeeze everyone on this small path. We had to interview the people there for some project. We found out that everyone here have been staying here for pretty long. Some even from a child. The people here are satisfied with life. Women here have little to do. The men work and the women stay at home. Most of them are housewives. Thank God they spoke or most of them were Chinese. I certainly do not want to open my mouth with the pathetic amount of Malay vocabulary I have.
Another one
a Guard Dog.
Mangroves of the Kukup island

Class photo at the 'boat jetty'

Whoah!! Nice View.

Class 204 boarding the boat.

It was super scary walking on just wooden planks with no support. It was even scarier when Mr Toh and Mrs Doris Poon said that (quoted) "If anyone falls in, we will laugh for 1 minute before helping you".

Big Grouper

the guy putting baits for the fish to shoot down. They weren't very active as they have been eating the entire day for visitors to see.
cool archer fish.
gigantic jelly fish. Did you know that the chewing gums in malaysia has a certain amount of jellyfish contents? Something smells fishy.
horseshoe crab. It looks weird. The female is bigger than the male. YEAH~

This called a dog-faced shark I think. The guy managed to hold it up for about 1 minute without it struggling. I wonder how long it stay out of water.
dried puffer fish. Wanna try?

spot-em. Tiny white fishes jelly fish. A half dead fish swimming upside down.

It started to rain heavily after that and there was some flood that made everyone excited --"

LJ week starts today :D I am so glad for this one-week-no-school-for-excursions activity. This is something that only the Raffles Programme has and I am very very grateful for it. Not because there is no homework (we still have to write tons of reflections) but because I have always enjoyed the trips. Today had to wake up super early... even earlier than normal school hours. I was like a zombie that night. I reached home from school only at 8.30pm. I was doing OM with Sarah.
Early in the morning and I had to start taking attendance. I nearly freaked out cause Catherine Tseng wasn't here. We departed and embarked on a trip. At the immigrant counter, we had checks. Nothing special. On the bus, I was sitting together with Jessie (who is supposed to be my life long partner according to Mr Toh). The trip was kind of long and boring so Jessie and I started drawing manga and then listening to Jessie's MP3 which was full on Gundam Seed songs.
I shall not give such a wordy post as I have a lot of things to say but I shall let the pictures do the talking. Here is a cool video of archer fishes shooting the 'ikan' (small silver fish) placed on a beam. Boy~ they are accurate. I think even better than archers :D Enjoy!
