1st day of skipping school for OM. HAHA! I kind of miss class (as in miss someone) I had nothing to rely on for notes and lesson outline. I wonder if all my other team mates are feeling lost as well. I got this really huge blister on my leg cause the glue from the HOT glue gun dripped onto my leg. It was really burning and painful. When the pain subsided, it turned swollen and had pus, so a blister is formed. That area looked as though my skin had been boiled or something. The day was started by making props, (whereby I got the blister). We completed all the 'sneaker' chocolate shoes to fit everyone. We had 3 rehearsals in the Raffles Room. Ms Lee made us try carrying our props in and starting immediately at the same time. In fact, in a team of 7 people, we were quite short-handed in carrying props. We did in again and again until we managed to get it right and coordinated. I didn't know that just a simple task of carrying props needed rehearsing.
We decided to do a super fast line run so that we could get the energy and the pace right. We made a miracle and it was about 6.20min. The shortest we have so far but that is just a line run. We made a nice little small rap fpr the celebration and more rehearsals. Our last one was 8.4omins. YAY!
We had a lunch break in the canteen, eating and doing spontaenous at the same time. It was really quite hilarious for some of them. I could tell you that everyone was staring at us like some nuts. Then we saw this entire croup of Indian students touring our school. I almost thought they were RI guys and wondering. However, there were girls in similar uniform :D
Spon was fun... we had this x-ray picture of a skeleton and a tree in the lungs. LT went: "Why did they go through all the trouble just to stick a tree in the picture" --"
Then was more rehearsals. This time in the K S Chee theatre with Miss Cheong and Ms Lee. The last one was the best. We managed to go within time although it was not the best. I believe we can do better. So lets pray tomorrow that we managed to do that again. The props are mostly completed and we have started stacking them into their respective boxes for easy location. We even have this box labeled sirvival kit.
Everyone is getting injured. I can bet with you that almost 90% of the OMers have had blisters due to glue guns. Cuts and scractches from penknives etc and paint all over. ARghh!
I can't believe that I gonna have to dress up as a bimbo for this OM thing. Don't worry, there won't be a chance for you to even take one snap of me.
Bleach episode going to be released tomorrow. Looking forward. Tomorrow is the last day of preparation. And then Friday and Saturday is IT. Well then, ja na!
