Today is APRIL FOOL's DAY. Arghhh! OMG! I can't believe that the entire class actually got fooled by Mr Toh, Miss Cheong and Miss Stella Picca. I tell you, this is one of the most convincing April Fool's Day joke that I have ever experienced by a teacher. The others were just some lame joke.

It all started out with a harmless 1st day of the 4th Month. The Class Chairperson of the class walked into the classroom and wrote on the board: Sorry to inform everyone so late, but the timetable has changed from Friday's timetable to Tuesday's. The entire class went "Hahhh..." And were totally fooled. When that joke was revealed, everyone laughed.

After recess, Mr Toh, out Philo aka CLE teacher, walked into class with Miss Cheong, our English teacher looking grave and serious. Something was up and everyone can sense it. Everyone settled down and remained silent. This is what he said:

"Girls, I have just came from a meeting at the Principal's office. We have caught one of the girls from the class vandalising in the vinicity of the school. A member of the public has called up the school and took a picture and demanded action taken or he will inform the newspaper and the police. I'm terribly disappointed with you for doing this. If anyone has any idea who did it or if it is you who committed the crime, you will have to inform me latest by 2pm. I will be in my office. If you are not aware, the consequences of this will be immediate expulsion, however, if you admit your crime, we might consider lowering the sentence."

Mr Toh then walked out. Miss Cheong all this while made depressing faces and did not say a word. English lessons remained as usual. After the block, Miss Picca, Miss Cheong and Mr Toh came back. Miss Picca said this in a very disappointed tone:

"Girls, I have no idea why you girls do this. I have just come from the Principal's office as well. This is Singapore you know, other countries may take this as art but not in Singapore. What you have done is very serious. Obviously, some of you have not learnt your lesson (referring to an incident that happened during learning journey)."

Just then, Mr Toh, came up with a pile of green notes. On it, this was written:

I ______________(name as in I/C) and of ______________ (I/C) hereby confirm that I have nothing to do with the case or have withheld any information regarding this matter

Everyone filled it in. and Mr Toh announced:

"Class, sign this slip of paper very carefully. It may be used in legal action against you."

The entire class was silent and uneasy. Some signed it with confidence but other decided not to sign. He stressed that we must write the 10T of the ID correctly and it spelt: I am an IDIOT! WHAT!!

"Okay everyone, I really have no idea why some of you girls do this, but one of the reason that I can come out with is that it is April Fool's Day!"

The entire class !? and started laughing like mad people. This is called using other's fears to make a joke. Once bitten twice shy. The entire class got conned. :D

After that I had OM until 6.00pm and I went home feeling happy. Went on a sugar high together with Sarah at the bus stop and said sprouted nonsense. Did Spontaneous during OM and had some rehearsals. Had fun together and thats all. Today, only Li Ting, Sarah, Shelley and I were there throughout the entire thing.
